The days of playgrounds paved in asphalt or set in sand are giving way to a new product in playground surfacing – EPDM cast-in-situ rubber flooring. We are happy to introduce EPDM rubber flooring as a new alternative to playground surfacing needs for a variety of reasons – safety being the biggest!

Made from recycled material and is non-toxic; EPDM cast-in-situ is specifically designed and engineered for impact attenuation on playground surfaces. As the rubber and urethane components are mixed and applied on-site, thicknesses can be modified to meet varying critical fall heights within the playground and colors can be mixed, it is now possible to have a jungle with animal shaped equipment sitting on top of a surface of palm trees and wild grasses.

EPDM Cast-in-situ safety surfacing is easily installed and practically maintenance-free; occasional rinsing with a garden hose or brushing with a stiff broom is all that’s needed to keep surface looking new and able to offer a durable and remarkably resilient rubber surface for years of safe play.
